Volunteer at Down Syndrome Victoria

Volunteers have been supporting the work of Down Syndrome Victoria since its beginning in 1978 and the organisation was in fact started by volunteers. Volunteers play a critical role in enabling  Down Syndrome Victoria work to empower individuals with Down syndrome for a lifetime of meaningful inclusion in the community.

For many individuals, volunteering is a way to connect with the local community as well as provide a pathway to personal and skills development. Volunteering is open to people of all ages and individuals with a disability are encouraged to apply.

Currently we are looking for volunteers for Club 21, Family Camp and later in the year, Step Up for Down Syndrome (previously Buddy Walk). Please contact us for more information.

If you are unable to make it to this event, you may like to check out Volunteering Victoria for vacancies with other organisations.
